Wednesday, Aug. 31-We will continue to follow procedures, review the website, and start talking about North Carolina geography. We break it down into four regions: Outer Coastal Plain (Tidewater), Inner Coastal Plain (where we live!), Piedmont, and the Mountains. We will cover/review each region with one per day.

Friday, Sept. 02-Election Friday: Every Friday we will cover American government, notably the election process. We will cover the breakdown of governments in the U.S., ranging from town councils to the U.S. Senate/House of Representatives.

Thursday, Sept. 8-We cover the Piedmont Region of North Carolina. Attached is a slide show students navigated on places to visit in the Piedmont. Notes to come after we've covered them in class.
In addition, the Piedmont notes are attached, as well as the video we watched in class.
Also attached is the North Carolina Geography Test Study Guide (on the right). A student may edit it as needed. The test will be on Thursday, Sept. 15.
