Jan. 2-We reviewed areas of social studies that students struggled on, ranging from Columbian Exchange to the Continental Congresses.
Jan. 3-We started on the U.S. Constitution Unit with the Articles of Confederation. Included is a video we watched on these Articles.

Jan. 4-We finished up the Articles of Confederation, reviewed the Preamble, and started working on a breakdown of the U.S. Constitution. Attached are the notes on the Articles of Confederation/U.S. Constitution and the handout on the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Jan. 5-We spent most of the class period working on the U.S. Constitution/Bill of Rights handout and covered the Federalists/Anti-Federalists. Attached is a breakdown of the two as they dueled over implementation of the Constitution. Plus, we watched a Mr. Betts video that highlights this same conflict.

Jan. 6-Students worked on a vocabulary assignment involving the U.S. Constitution/Government. Attached is the sheet with the answers, plus the test study guide. Please see the "Main Page" for the test date.
Jan. 9-13
Jan. 9-No School due to cold temperatures Jan. 10-Two-Hour Delay, but we still covered some important material. Students took an 'Exit Ticket' on the breakdown of the U.S. Constitution and worked on translating the first 10 amendments called the "Bill of Rights." Attached are the answers.
