Monday-Tuesday-Students took the Social Studies Benchmark test. When finished, the students examined the 'Rebellions against Lords Proprietors' (see 'carolinacolonynotes2016') notes and applied them into a visual representation.
Wednesday-I was out today for a workshop. The students watched a video on Benjamin Franklin and contributed key facts about his achievements.
Many students also watched this episode of 'NC NOW' that connects New Bern, the second-oldest town in North Carolina, to its origins in Bern, Switzerland. They both like bears a lot! Check it out.
