Thursday-Friday, March 2/3-Students watched a video on the Wright Brothers and wrote facts about their achievements (and some low points). On Friday we started working on North Carolina textbook-related material involving North Carolina's industrialization.
Monday/Tuesday, March 6/7-Students worked on familiarizing themselves with the American Industrial Revolution's vocabulary through Quizlet (the link is on eBackpack under the 'American Industrial Revolution Vocabulary' file), and taking the Pre-Test.
Students also completed warm-ups that involved the American Industrial Revolution. They will spend plenty of time breaking down primary documents and potentially cartoons, charts, graphs, etc. Attached are these warm-ups:

Monday, March 13-We spent time in class reviewing the unit so far. We also spent some time watching a video on the Duke Family and the beginning of Duke Energy.
Tuesday, March 14: Students studied Ellis/Angel Island. Additionally, they started on North Carolina: Industrialized! out of the textbook.
Wednesday, March 15: Students wrapped up the textbook activity on N.C. Industrialized.
